His research addresses various topics within the field of economic and social history: agricultural and consumer co-operatives and their relationship with the industrialization of the food sector and the improvement of living standards; and the development of the nutritional transition in Spain. He has published in international journals such as Economic History Review, European Review of Economic History, Business History, Enterprise & Society, International Review of Social History or Journal of Wine Research.
