Martin is Associate Professor in the School of Education and Professional Studies, Griffith University. She is Deputy Chair of the LSIC steering committee. She is a Noonuccal woman with Bidjara ancestry. Gawaian Bodkin-Andrews is Associate Professor within the Centre for the Advancement of Indigenous Knowledges, University of Technology Sydney and has developed an interest in Indigenous perspectives on racism and statistics.
