Author Information

D P Tripathi is the Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). He is also the General Secretary and chief spokesman of the Nationalist Congress Party, and member the Consultative Committee of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and the Standing Committee on External Affairs of the Parliament. B R Deepak is Professor of Chinese and China Studies at the Centre for Chinese and Southeast Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He specializes in Chinese civilization, contemporary China, India-China relations, China's relations with its neighbors and major powers. He also has interest in Chinese classical literature and has translated the Analects of Confucius into Hindi recently.
