Reviews

""With honesty, courage, and heart, this book shows how every leader can unlock their own 'superpower' of making others feel valued and seen. As someone who has spent her career focused on engagement and retention, I found myself nodding, learning, and celebrating every page. This book is more than a guide; it's a movement toward workplaces where people truly belong. For anyone committed to engaging and retaining talent in today's workplace, this book is indispensable. It challenges, inspires, and equips leaders to step forward with courage and make inclusion a daily reality."" -Dr. Beverly Kaye, coauthor of Love 'Em or Lose 'Em, Help Them Grow or Watch Them Go, Up Is Not the Only Way, and Hello Stay Interviews, Goodbye Talent Loss ""In Inclusionable, Christine Barnes gives us a practical hands-on roadmap for helping leaders at all tiers of an organization to undertake behaviors that promote warm welcome, connection, safety, and inclusion on teams and inside their organization's cultural fabric. At an incredibly painful time for the DEI movement writ large, this book brings passion to the topic and hopeful pragmatism to how leaders can make daily choices that make a meaningful difference. I hope this book can support new momentum to the evolution of the workplace as a source of belonging and healing."" -Amy Elizabeth Fox, CEO, Mobius Executive Leadership ""Inclusionable provides a comprehensive and practical guide at a time in our world when it is most needed. Christine Barnes provides a strong evidence-based perspective coupled with an authentic and pragmatic set of lessons that both support and confront all of us who are committed to building heathy and enduring communities and organizations."" -Andrew Chandler, organizational design and development leader ""Inclusionable goes beyond theory to deliver practical strategies for leaders who want to build belonging and accountability. At its core is a powerful reminder: Inclusion is about human-to-human connection, and caring, servant leaders are inherently inclusive. Authentic, insightful, and timely, this book will help leaders create workplaces where people feel respected, valued, and part of something bigger than themselves."" -Germain L. St-Denis, author of Empowering People Through Caring Leadership ""A clear, approachable book filled with stories, research, and practical frameworks that help leaders see inclusion as not just a moral imperative, but also a competitive advantage."" -Portland Book Review ""With a formidable and empathetic voice, Dr. Barnes guides readers on a journey of self-discovery and team transformation. Weaving a rich collection of narratives from diverse leaders, she emphasizes the critical importance of belonging. Her stories are not just lessons-they are invitations to reflect, adapt, and lead with authenticity."" -Britta Stromeyer, author and book critic, National Book Critics Circle ""Inclusionable illustrates the strategic benefits of leading as an agent of change. A thoughtful leadership guide."" -Foreword Clarion Reviews ""Inclusionable joins a host of other business books about leadership and team motivation, but with a difference. It promotes the concept of 'inclusive leadership.' . . . Rich in attitude and ideas for team leaders interested in going the extra mile. . . . A standout."" -Midwest Book Review
