Author Information

Pam Wells lives with her husband in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Wells has faced a long and challenging battle with clinical depression, enduring multiple hospitalizations, years of therapy, and trying various medications. Despite the care she received, Pam reached a point where she made a serious attempt at suicide-but miraculously, she survived. In the year that followed, she experienced a full recovery. Throughout her journey, her husband, like many caregivers, often felt helpless and unsure of how to support her. To offer guidance to others, Pam interviewed several people she met along the way, including friends, family, and fellow survivors. Their responses, shared anonymously, are included in this book. She wrote this book to help those struggling with depression feel seen and understood, and to provide loved ones with tools to offer meaningful support. Pam's hope is that readers-whether living with depression or supporting someone through it-find comfort, connection, and the reassurance that they are not alone.
