Overview

Often as church musicians, we are called upon to support the observance of the Lord's Supper with background music. This book is designed to help pianists provide worshipful, uninterrupted music that focuses the congregation on the work of Christ. Five arrangements are included, each combining three pieces in a fluid, reflective style. These arrangements contain built-in optional repeats, making it easier for pianists to adjust their playing to the timing needed for the service. These arrangements can also be used for preludes, postludes, or offertories as needed.

Rachel Premo is a private music teacher, public piano performer, and vocal ensemble director. She received her degree in Music Education from Anderson University of South Carolina and has since devoted her career to entrepreneurial musicianship. Whether she is transcribing hymns for church or improvising her own take on a jazz favorite, Rachel loves to arrange her own performance music. She is a Pennsylvania native, but currently resides in South Carolina with her husband, Craig, who shares her passions for the Lord and for teaching young adults.
