Author Information

Carl F. Neal has been a student of incense since 1977. In 1995, he became a professional incense maker and has avidly researched incense ever since. He eventually set aside his retail incense business and focused on bringing an expanded awareness of incense to everyone who would read or listen. Networking with incense makers and users from around the world has widened his understanding and perspective. A strong supporter of community, he has been a frequent guest at Pagan festivals and gatherings. Tegan Ashton Cohan is a classically trained actor and audiobook narrator. A Wellesley College alumna, she graduated cum laude in three years with a major in independent theater studies and an undeclared minor in medieval and Renaissance history. She took conservatory with the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. Continuing her professional education, she has studied with Shakespeare & Company, The Second City, The Clown School, The Meisner Center of Los Angeles, and Kalmenson & Kalmenson.
