Dr. Danny M. Vaughn is a former tenured Professor of Geosciences with over 30 years professional experience in higher education. He is a National Board Certified Mapping Scientist registered through the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (Certified since 1996) dedicated to developing and editing on-line (http: //mvh.iupui.edu/moodle/) curriculum focusing on project-based, experiential learning strategies in the Earth and environmental sciences. His career has focused on the study of Earth surface processes including; Geomorphology, Physical Geography, Geology, Meteorology, Geographic Information Systems, Remote Sensing, and field techniques in the Earth sciences.
