(Steve) Stolee grew up in Grand Forks, North Dakota and spent his twenties adventuring in Alaska. In his thirtieth year, he settled on Bainbridge Island, off the coast of Seattle, and freelances there from an office in the woods as a photographer, film maker and graphic designer. He is co-founder of The Picture Project and Bainbridge Island Theatre Ensemble in which he has been actor, director and manager of the Ten Minute Play Festival. He is a recipient of the 2019 Island Treasure Award for Arts and Humanities. James Botsford has been an Indian Rights attorney for 36 years. Although mostly retired he contributes some emeritus work to indigenous religious freedom issues. He also serves on a tribal supreme court He's a father and grandfather and lives with his starter wife of over 40 years on the banks of Big Sandy Creek in north central Wisconsin.
