As a child, Michael Banks suffered the debilitating circumstances of sexual abuse - inflicted on him by who was supposed to be a trusted family member. Michael Banks is a writer, a dog lover, an avid traveler, and a singer among many other talents. He's spent years of his life visiting breathtaking cities and towns in various destinations, including the French Polynesian islands; Sydney, Australia; Mexico; and most of the U.S. States. As of 2023, he's 13 years sober. Today, Banks lives in Maine and remains professionally invested in anthropological research amid his many other hobbies.
