Norma Kimball Salway, parent, grandparent, and a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, retired from teaching in 2009. During her thirty-four years in education, she taught four- to seven-year-old students. Her hobbies include writing, kayaking, gardening, antiquing, and crafting. Salway's children and her extended family bring great joy and happiness to her every day. This book, I Can Hear the Music, seeks to comfort those grieving a loss. Salway reminds us that music comforts, soothes, and heals. She continues to write while living in Portland, Maine, with her cat, Gusty.
