Reviews

From the very first sentence of I Am Yours, Reema Zaman's magic is present. Her precision and ability to capture the nuances of emotional abuse and how we process and carry trauma is remarkable. The clarity and emotion of her prose is engaging, ethereal, and yet so relatable. Her story is a journey of self, of healing, and, most importantly, of finding one's voice. We are so lucky she has; her compelling and distinct voice in this phenomenal debut is truly one of a kind. --Erin Khar, author of Heroine--Erin Khar, author of Heroine I Am Yours is one of those rare books that begs to be devoured and savored in equal measure. It's more than a memoir; it's a spiritual guide. Zaman will pull you up by your heartstrings and remind you that you alone are the author of your life. The last word belongs to us if only we are brave enough to speak. Poetic, healing, and so necessary. --Gemma Hartley, author of FED UP: Emotional Labor, Women, and the Way Forward--Gemma Hartley, author of FED UP: Emotional Labor, Women, and the Way Forward Astonishing--as light as a healing wand, and as deep as honesty can go.
