Noёl Busch-Armendariz, Ph.D., LMSW, M.P.A. is the University Presidential Professor at The University of Texas at Austin, Steve Hicks School of Social Work, the director of IDVSA, and a professor at Dell Medical School. She is a nationally recognized expert and has taught, practiced, and researched gender-based violence, human trafficking, and restorative practice for 30 years. Maura Nsonwu, Ph.D., LCSW is a professor in the School of Social Work at North Carolina State University. She has practiced as a clinician, educator, and researcher in refugee resettlement, human trafficking, health care, child welfare, and social work education for over 30 years. Laurie Cook Heffron, Ph.D., LMSW is a professor and the director of the Social Work Program at St. Edward's University.
