Linda Kevich is the founder of The International Institute of Weddings (instituteofweddings.com) and the creator of SuperWeddings.com. An internationally recognized wedding expert, Ms Kevich has been featured and quoted in major media including USA Today, Brides Magazine, Consumer Reports Magazine, The New York Times, The Associated Press, Reuters, and hundreds of others. She began her wedding career in 1991 with the launch of her own business as a professional wedding planner. It was the early days of the field of professional wedding planning, few people had even heard of the concept, and the correct term was still wedding consultant. With the wealth of knowledge and experience she gained as one of the early wedding consultants/ wedding planners in the industry, she subsequently went on to develop one of the longest established and leading certification programs for wedding planners, and was one of the very first providers of wedding planner training and certification over a decade and a half ago. Today the wedding planner certification program offered by the International Institute of Weddings (instituteofweddings.com) is recognized as one of the most thorough, indepth, and practical training programs anywhere in the world for professional wedding planners. Ms Kevich is also a skilled and talented wedding floral designer and began the early part of her career designing wedding flowers for her many of her consulting clients. Ms Kevich has a formal educational background in fashion design and merchandising.
