Whatever your focus, there is something to enjoy in this new, up-to-date compendium -- Elroy Dimson, Co-author of The Triumph of the Optimists, Professor of Finance, Cambridge Judge Business School In times of economic uncertainty, it's all too easy to follow the latest new thing in investing rather than sticking with the tried and true. Peter Stanyer and his co-authors continue to add value by encouraging us to look at the evidence of long-term performance. My firm's experience is that their approach results in happier investors -- Mark Ralphs, Founding Partner of the Financial Planning Corporation LLP
