Reviews

I will be sending this book off to college with my daughter when we pack her up to go in a few years. I love that it takes into account the limited cooking appliances and supplies that she is likely to have. The recipes are easy and they are for foods that will come in handy like granola bars that only require 2.5 minutes of cook time in a microwave! I also love that the recipes are divided up by meals. The author even provides suggestions to meet cravings such as recipes to try when you are craving something sweet, comforting, or fancy-ish! --Scarlet Paolicchi, founder of Family Focus Blog Every young person launching on their own two feet should have a copy of Christina Hitchcock's How-to Cookbook for College--a guide to basic but delicious meals using a minimum of appliances and ingredients. --Jennifer Osborn, food writer, photographer and founder of kitchenserf.com

Christina breaks down techniques, tools, and basics to lay the foundation for success. Her simple but delicious recipes are perfect for everyone from beginners to those who are ready to expand their cooking knowledge! The perfect going-to-college gift! --Krista Romano, food photographer, writer, and founder of Far From Normal The How-to Cookbook for College is everything a college student needs to eat well while in school. Christina Hitchcock teaches the skills needed to cook quick meals that are way healthier than takeout and vending machines.
