When the U.S. Supreme Court selected George W. Bush as president of the United States in the year 2000, the Republicans began dismantling the U.S.Constitution. Karl Rove, known as Bush's Brain, is said to have stated he wanted to make the United States a one-party country. That became the goal of the Republican Party for the next 15 years.
