Toddler-PreS–With detailed information on diggers and other construction vehicles, this title has engaging illustrations and a die-cut digger that will have little hands digging into this title. “Did you know” fact boxes and labeled diagrams follow a digger and crew through the process of building a house. For young big machine enthusiasts, this title provides additional information that should answer many of those “why?” questions that young builders will have. VERDICT Thorough, engaging, and sturdy enough for the rereadings it’s sure to inspire. --School Library Journal
