Author Information

Deborah Berke founded her firm in 1982 and has since created a body of work with a distinct and lasting character. She is a Trustee and Vice President of the Forum + Institute for Urban Design and was a Founding Trustee of New York City's Design Trust for Public Space. Rick Moody is the author of the novels Garden State, The Ice Storm, and Purple America, among others, as well as The Black Veil: A Memoir with Digressions, which was awarded the PEN/Martha Albrand Award for the Art of the Memoir.
