During Covid 42% of Americans have gained unwanted weight due to stress, so a lot of folks need advice on how to get back to a place of wellness. This book delivers. The author, a physician, starts by discussing her own struggles with weight and how she had to change her lifestyle. She then goes on to outline 7 steps (Non of which thankfully involve dieting or counting calories) to transform your body, mind and spirit so you find true wellness. -Dr. Ellen Albertson, Psychologist, RD Amazon Reviews: This book seeks to guide the reader through that journey to achieve optimal wellness by maximizing the way we feel about our bodies, mind and well-being. Very well written by a doc that's been through a lot of trials and adversity. She's real, open, honest. Practical advice that helps long term, rather than quick fix in easy- to- follow steps. Amanda covers the basics in this guide on your journey to wellness. The chapters are concise and the plan is doable. As a nutritionist, I agree with her on each of the pillars of health she discusses. I especially love her chapter on the importance of sleep and helpful tips!
