Overview"Karl Guenter Heimsoth, M.D. was a German physician and astrologer who was an acquaintance of the German Nazi politician Ernst Rohm. Dr. Heimsoth was murdered by the Nazi SS on June 30, 1934. This book, the only one he wrote, was published in 1928, under the title Charakter Konstellation (The Character Constellation). It is an early and groundbreaking study of homosexuality in the horoscope that bridges the gap between science and astrology. Extensively illustrated with example charts, including members of England's royal family, the book includes chapters on the nature of homosexuality, character-constellation as it relates to homosexuality, a synopsis of homosexuality and astrology, the two different laws of attraction considered from an astrological viewpoint, and character-constellation in psychoanalysis. ""Astrology is a science and, like the x-ray, it throws light onto many things that otherwise would remain hidden,"" wrote Dr. Heimsoth. ""My concern in the present work is primarily research into the nature of personality and character and the search for the possibility of an objective formulation of an individual's psychic orientation."""
