Overview

From Jonathan: 'Well, I've just read Hologram City from cover to cover. As I turned the pages I became more and more engrossed in it all. You have some pretty far reaching ideas in those pages, and it made me think and laugh many times. I found it to be very well written and it had a great pace about it, which kept me turning the pages. I really enjoyed reading it, and my respect for you as a creative thinker has gone up a lot. I'm proud to have a signed copy of your first book'. Thank you to my friend Jonathan, for reading Hologram City and giving me such a beautiful review Now as for you reader....... Get over here.......... I've got something to tell ya........ 18+......... Please don't ignore this age rating This is a philosophical Sci-Fi, inspired by contemporary times, and it is partly satire. it also explores some spiritual themes. It is wrapped and weaved in an imaginative Sci-Fi dream, and the story of The Solar Age is told, through a collection of short stories. But I don't want to give too much away, and I want you to be immersed in the book for a few hours...... forget the world for a while...... But before you start stomping off into the year 2199, I'll give you a run down of the basics you'll probably need to know: Over-population was the overwhelming issue of the year 2100, and the world needed a solid plan, a solid design. Scientists and Philosophers proposed the Idea of a man made ring, that was to be built around Earth in orbit, to act as a space habitation for the population. The residents on The Ring, were to be housed in a hologram simulation of all that was familiar on Planet Earth. The Centre of The Ring, was the grandiose fiction.... famous all across the globe.... known only, as Hologram City. Before we head over there, you must first strap your seatbelt in, alongside Bethany & James, as they go on an adventure in the summer of 2199. James wanted to take Bethany to the city of wonder..... And you're going to meet them..... You are going to discover what it means to bond with those you love, and see if you can't open up your heart to these two little rascals. (As their AI friend would most likely describe them) But after which reader, you are going to find out some things about Hologram City, and you are going to meet some rather bizarre characters: Professors, Spokesmen, strange locals, business men and a rather famous brain. And yes, they have names. We are also going to observe a community function on Mars, but you are going to witness some things.... Some very strange things..... But you must remember, it is beyond our control.... And lastly, you will get the chance to meet with some of the residents on Fuel Station Jupiter. By the end of your journey, I hope you'll have learned some new things. But mostly, I hope you enjoy yourself, I hope you laugh, and have a few hours of escapism. I hope you enjoy this novella greatly, your feedback is valuable to me and it can provide a further foundation, to making this a series of books. Now go meet Bethany & James..... I want you to meet them. 33,620 words.
