He was the author of Broadway Musicals Show by Show, The World of Musical Comedy, and The Encyclopedia of the Musical Film, among other well-loved books., Barry Monush (Metuchen, New Jersey) is the associate editor of Screen World and a researcher at the Paley Center for Media in New York City.
