Overview

What possible good can come from the suffering that has been inflicted on us by the coronavirus pandemic...or any firestorm of disease? It turns out that pandemic suffering can be made bearable, and even transformative, but only when we discover its meaning. Dr. Barbara Hort uses the ancient art of storytelling-woven with history, science, and psychology-to reveal the meaning of our pandemic suffering by placing it in a larger and deeper context. Her fascinating stories and insightful commentaries will help you discover your personal sense of meaning within the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic...or any other crisis of contagion.
