He is a ten year member of the Society of Toxicology and the past president of the Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues specialty section. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, University Honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. His Doctoral degree is from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas, and he holds a board certification from the American Board of Toxicology.
