Located on the coast of Maine, Boothbay and Southport are two picturesque towns with rich histories. This publication serves to preserve the essence of the town's pasts and the relationships of its families through a compilation of records. Most of the information used in this work has been drawn from collections of the Maine Historical Society, the York Deeds, the Massachusetts Archives, the Lincoln County Records, Williamson's History of Maine, Johnson's History of Bristol, Cushman's History of Sheepscot, and Sewall's Ancient Dominions of Maine. Family genealogies begin after page 462, listed alphabetically by family name, detailing kinship and the line of descendants, as well as general facts about the family. Additionally, the author includes several cuts, maps, and portraits that may be valuable to the reader.
