Author Information

"Carrie Carter is a poet living and working in Washington, DC. She holds a BA in English from The Ohio State University. High Water (Quillkeepers Press, 2023) is her debut publication and includes work written over twenty years. Also in 2023, Carrie is a contributor and sponsor in a gun violence protest anthology produced by Gnashing Teeth Press. Carrie is a non-traditional professional, working in various industries, including retail, academia, facilities, and community advocacy. When she is not reading or writing poetry, she can be found in her garden, telling the bees that she loves them. David Wojciechowski is a freelance graphic designer living in Albany, NY. He has designed books and journals for Deep Vellum, Ricochet Editions, Salt Hill, Split/Lip Press, and others. David is also the author of the poetry collection Dreams I Never Told You & Letters I Never Sent (Gold Wake Press, 2017) and the chapbook Koniec (End) (Greying Ghost, 2023). His second full-length collection is coming in 2024 from ELJ Editions. He can be found online at davidwojo.com or on Twitter and Instagram @MrWojoRising. Stephanie Lamb, founder, and EIC of Quillkeepers Press, LLC, earned her Bachelor's in Business Accounting and later switched gears to further her education in Creative Writing. She has had a lifelong love of literature, which led her to study classic and contemporary writing forms. Lamb has had a passion for writing since she was a teenager when she wrote to process her feelings, triumphs, and traumas in a healthy manner. She went through almost a decade-long writer's block in her mid-20's when she sought medical intervention for insomnia and chronic anxiety. Now, she writes to purge and for her own healing. She shares her work publicly, hoping it helps heal others. Her mottos and reason for writing can be summed up as ""I write to purge these feelings, not become them.""Lamb is also the author of the discontinued collection Verbal Vomit and Other Poetry and Prose, which we hear is being revamped and will be available again soon."
