Material eksperymentalny skladal się z 8 rodziców, 28 hybryd wyhodowanych metodą póldialelową oraz MH-64 jako standardowego kontrolnego. Uzyskano dane dotyczące siedemnastu cech, w tym plonu strąków i jego skladników. Krzyżówki VRO 6 × Arka Abhay, VRO 6 × AOL 10-8 i Parbhani Kranti × Arka Abhay wykazaly znaczną i pożądaną heterozję w zakresie plonu strąków na roślinę w porównaniu z kontrolą standardową. Spośród 8 rodziców, dwóch rodziców, mianowicie AOL 10-8 i Arka Abhay, uznano za dobre ogólne kombinatory.
