Katrina Shawver met Henry in 2002 when she wrote for the Arizona Republic, and after one meeting offered to write his story. They soon became close friends and friendship remains a theme throughout. Katrina is an experienced writer, accomplished speaker, and lifelong history geek. She spent many years researching Poland, World War II, and the Holocaust. Her writing career began more than twenty years ago by penning hundreds of newspaper columns for the Arizona Republic. She lives in Phoenix Arizona with her husband.
