John M. Heisman is the founder of Heisman Group, Ltd., which was established to preserve the legacy and memory of John W. Heisman and the development of American football. Heisman is also vice president of sales and marketing for Harper Vance Web Developers. He is a graduate of Ohio State University and has done graduate work at Ashland Theological Seminary. Mark Schlabach, a University of Georgia graduate, is coauthor of the 2010 New York Times bestselling book Called to Coach: Reflections on Life, Faith, and Football. He is one of the most respected and popular college football columnists in the country. Schlabach has covered the sport for more than fifteen years, first as a full-time staff writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Washington Post and currently as a national columnist for ESPN.com. He regularly appears on several ESPN television programs. Schlabach is also a permanent host of the popular Talkin' Football on Comcast Sports Southeast. Schlabach and his wife, Heather, live in Madison, Georgia, with their three children.
