In addition to her AOS degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America, she has earned both a bachelor's of science degree in food service education and a master's of science degree in computer education from Johnson & Wales, as well as a master's of arts degree in food service management and a PhD in foods and food management from NYU. She has also played a key role in the field with her research in computerizing the foodservice industry. She is currently Dean of Graduate and Academic Studies at Baltimore International College.
