Joseph Neev, Ph.D., is an assistant professor with joint appointments in the Department of Surgery and the Beckman Laser Institute and Medical Clinic, University of California, Irvine. His research interests are in laser-tissue interactions and applications of lasers to surgery, dentistry, and biology. Dr. Neev is a member of the Optical Society of America, the American Society for Lasers in Medical Surgery, the Society of Electro-optical Engineers (SPIE), and the American Dental Association.
