Reviews

<p> Handbook of Medicine in Psychiatry specifically targets psychiatrists who are working in free-standing psychiatric hospitals and does a very fine job of providing succinct chapters based on presenting medical conditions that they will encounter regularly....The down-to-earth approach and focus on the target audience makes it a reference handbook of great utility to the very audience the book says it is written for. If you want to have fast access to a short reference on everyday medical problems, written with the everyday psychiatric clinician in mind, this book hits the mark squarely. -- PsycCRITIQUES , December 13, 2006

The book was easy to read and packed with information. Many of the chapters sent me to the medical dictionary or other texts and were excellent and practical reviews of material that, if I ever learned, I had, in some instances, long forgotten. - American Journal of psychiatry, August, 2008
