I was pleased to see that all the real-time ultrasound images are reproduced as negatives (white on black) although the illustration on the cover is a positive image! There is no attempt to relate echocardiography to other cardiac imaging modalities and this is no substitute for a cardiology textbook. Those new to echocardiography should find it helpful as they build up experience.
