She received her PhD in 2008 from Monash University and is a senior lecturer in the School of Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy at The Cairnmillar Institute. Connie Harris is a psychologist and has a background as a registered nurse and experience in social welfare. Connie has completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Monash and Deakin Universities. She is currently working in private practice.
