Nancy Steeves, B.Sc., M.Div., LL.B., D.Min is a minister with the United Church of Canada. Nancy also practiced law for more than a decade in public practice as a crown prosecutor and in private practice in civil and criminal law. She has provided leadership on the ministry team of Southminster-Steinhauer United Church in Edmonton, Alberta, for over 19 years. Nancy explores an expansive spirituality that honours the roots of the Judeo-Christian household but reaches beyond it to the wisdom of other enduring spiritual traditions, the natural world, poetry, the arts, and science. Amy Loewan is a visual artist based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.Amy is celebrated for her dedication to creating artwork that promotes peace, harmony, and understanding. In designing this book cover, Amy focused on the use of colour and symbol to evoke the contemplative spirit in order to reach the human heart.
