Author Information

Edward M Young is an experienced aviation historian living in Seattle, Washington. He holds BA and MA degrees in Political Science from Harvard University and the University of Washington, an MA in the History of Warfare from King’s College, London, and a PhD in History at King’s College. He is the author of ten books for Osprey in the Campaign, Warrior, Aircraft of the Aces, Combat Aircraft and Duel series. The illustrators for this book are Gareth Hector (cover and battlescene) and Jim Laurier (armament, cockpit and three-views, profile and Engaging the Enemy artwork).
