Tony Baugh, our newest and most articulate public intellectual, has written here a searing portrayal of where we are, why we are, and who we are in the United States of America in 2021. It is a cliche to state that America is at a crossroads. But there we find ourselves, facing the fearsome truth that ancient problems of injustice remain unresolved. Fortunately, Baugh is there to guide us to recognition, resolution--and ultimately, reconciliation. --W. C. McDonald, University of Virginia With tremendous reach and power, Tony Baugh synthesizes centuries of thought on Christology.
