Christine Dowd resides in Central Massachusetts with her husband and Goldendoodle. She has a Master's degree in Special Education--moderate disabilities--and works in an elementary school as a special education teacher for students with moderate disabilities. She is currently studying and closely researching trauma-informed care and the impact of trauma on learning at a university near Boston. Christine's own experience with grief and trauma has always been the propelling force that drives her to learn more about this topic, with the sole hope of helping other people on their emotional journeys. Christine's desire to share her personal story stems from her strong desire to help people and encourage them to stay positive amid grief. She is a big animal lover and finds peace and joy around them. She is a loving and doting doodle mom to her three-year-old Goldendoodle, Milo.
