Overview

A powerful and captivating story of newly-wed young Gracie and her husband, Jim Logue, who struggle to find their footing when they move to a small Irish village. Quickly they become targets of their scheming, neighbours Ann and Nevin, pub owners too, who are vehemently opposed to any competition. Despite unwarranted hostility from the outset, Gracie finds success as a teacher and starts a knitting circle in the village. "Caitriona Coyle was born and raised in a small village in Donegal. After attending college in Dublin, she taught English and Religion in a suburban secondary school there, for 30 years.
