Tot ce este frumos și bun în fiecare om îl face pe el și pe alții să se bucure. Ceea ce este negativ sau ne face rău nouă înșine și altora, sunt buruieni pe care avem nevoie să le recunoaștem și să le mulțumim că ne arată că oricând, florile dragi nouă se pot ofili și muri dacă nu sunt îngrijite. Exemplele pe care le vei găsi în carte, presărate printre buruieni sau flori, sunt frânturi din puzzle-ul vieții mele, care au contribuit la a mă defini ca omul care sunt, acum. Ele fac parte din calea urmată către sinele meu, o cale a regăsirii bogăției spirituale prin care am înțeles cât de bogați suntem cu toții.

Manuela was born in a small town in Transilvania, Romania and brought up under Communism. Her childhood dream was to become a classroom teacher. Therefore, her dream was alive for over twenty years, teaching 1- 4 grade classes. Later, she gained a BA in English and another in Psychology from Spiru Haret University, Romania. In her 40s, she received MRes in Developmental Psychology from Oxford Brookes University. She worked with both children and adults with special needs. She also volunteered with the Marie Curie shop in the Uk, mentored Muslim children in Oxford and helped children with Autism in Hunedoara, Romania as a volunteer Psychologist. Currently, she writes books on spiritual topics, edits books for children, and spends the rest of her time working in the garden among the trees and flowers.
