OverviewThis volume, Globalization, Integration and Transition, originates from the 8th International Network for Economic Research (INFER) workshop on International Economics held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Babeş-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, on 17-18 October 2008. This workshop brought together researchers and policy makers to discuss the challenges of the European integration, especially for the emergent countries and of the globalisation.
