Author Information

Kathryn Lasky has written many books. Among her works of fiction are The Night Journey, winner of the National Jewish Book Award, and Beyond the Burning Time, an American Library Association Best Book for Young Adults. Her nonfiction has won the Newbery Honor, among other awards. She and her husband (and frequent nonfiction collaborator), photographer Christopher Knight, live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Morag Sims is an experienced audiobook narrator who grew up listening to audiobooks and fell in love with telling stories and creating characters. She has recorded several radio plays as well as a documentary and a short film. When not recording, she is a keen baker, an enthusiastic vegetable grower, and a research fiend. Originally from rural Essex, she currently resides in North London.
