Reviews

""J. Buck Ford's 'Ghost in This House' is a beautifully crafted collection of essays that resonates with profound emotional depth. Ford's writing is exquisite, painting vivid pictures of his memories, and allowing the reader to truly feel the weight of his experiences. I thought I understood the dynamics of his family history, but this book revealed layers I never imagined. Ford's storytelling is so immersive, I felt as though I was walking alongside him, sharing in his personal journey. This is a must-read for anyone seeking a poignant and deeply moving exploration of family, memory, and the enduring power of the past."": Georgette Jones-Lennon - author of the memoir. 'The Three of Us: Growing Up with Tammy and George' '""In these essays, JBuck Ford takes us on a roller coaster ride from the power of cornbread to hold families together... to what's magic and what's tragic about the human condition. And how ultimately, it is in our brokenness, that we become whole."": Marshall Chapman - author of the award-winning memoir, ""Goodbye Little Rock and Roller'

Author Information

JBuck Ford is a writer, film maker and social media content producer. His first book, River of No Return Tennessee Ernie Ford and The Woman He Loved, was called, ""masterfully rendered...compulsively readable and...fascinating"" by Publishers Weekly. Library Journal said that it was ""compelling and well written."", and the late screen idol, Tab Hunter called it, ""heartwarming and heartwrenching"", marking Ford's emergence as writer with acclaim from both the literary world, and the world of those who lived the life. In addition to his work as a writer and short-form documentary filmmaker, Ford creates and manages the daily social media content production for a trio of Country Music's most respected artists: singer Gary Morris, the voice behind one of the world's most popular songs, ""Wind Beneath My Wings"", slide guitar virtuoso and Texas bluesman, Lee Roy Parnell, and the late Country superstar, Lynn Anderson, the vocalist on the international hit, ""I Never Promised You a Rose Garden"". He recently wrapped his newest short-form web documentary, 'Coffee, Whiskey and Iodine a cowboy out of time'. He lives in Nashville.
