The Gettysburg Railroad Station is a defunct train station with depot and platform that has a museum and offices on Carlisle Street in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The station is notable for being the site of Abraham Lincoln's arrival to Gettysburg on November 18, 1863, one day before delivering the Gettysburg Address. After an uncompleted 1830s plan for a railroad through Gettysburg, on December 1, 1858, the Gettysburg Railroad line was completed from the east to Gettysburg. On December 16 at 3 p.m., a reception for railroad dignitaries was held at a large and recently furnished building near the depot.
