PD the Pug is the descendent of a breed that once was the companion of Chinese royalty, yet he somehow found himself adopted by--and stuck living with--Mommy in Arlington, Virginia. He is two-year-old black pug who is a proficient treat-tester, superb snorer, whirlwind tail-chaser, and top-rated begger. As a puppy, he won the prestigious and coveted Pee Award for tipping over while urinating against a bush. Get Me Out Of Here! Reflections of PD the Put-Upon Pug is his first book. Mommy Marilee Joyce is the servant of PD the Pug and lives with him in his Arlington home. She has the privilege of feeding, walking, and bathing him; getting the goopies out of his googly eyes; cleaning up his whoopsies; Q-tipping his ears and nose fold; and explaining that it is merely his reflection he is barking at in the sliding glass door and not a threat to the household, his toys, or his treats. Marilee is the owner of Joyce Communications in Washington, DC. She is a former anchor and reporter for several television affiliates. In Washington, she has produced and hosted several television programs from Capitol Hill, and her company offers full video and audio production services. Mommy might have helped just a bit with the writing of this book. Please don't tell PD.
