OverviewThe field study approached under the cartographic, structural and metallogenic aspects allowed to note that on the whole, the sector of Muvunyi Karuba(Bisunzu) is intersected by several networks of breaks and veins (pegmatites and quartz). The quartz veins also intersect the mineral foliation with the peculiarity of being cataclasted. As for the fractures, they have a preferential direction of N76°E. Given the different fractures that took place during the deformation phase, i.e. after crystallization of the magma, and that it is through some of these fractures that the hydrothermal solutions crystallized, we conclude that: the first network of quartz veins results from the crystallization of the hydrothermal solutions, which are highly differentiated and rich in silica, and whose fluid circulation took place preferentially through fractures oriented N150°E/49°NW, whereas for the second network of quartz veins, the crystallization of the fluids took place preferentially in planes oriented N10°E to N50°E.
