In the 1980s feminist geography offered a stimulating new approach to the subject, providing fresh perspectives on traditional areas of the discipline. Originally published in 1984, the authors of Geography and Gender, members of the Women and Geography Study Group of the Institute of British Geographers, compiled an introductory text with an accessible, concise and jargon-free style which engaged the reader’s interest. Each chapter includes an annotated further reading list and topics for discussion.
