Geiger is his literary debut. Clare Corbett, an Earphones Award-winning narrator, studied at the Welsh College of Music and Drama. After winning the Carlton Hobbs audition, she was chosen to be on BBC Radio. After leaving BBC she went on to narrate several children's books, including Over the Moon, I Rule Dogsbottom School, and Boy Beware. She has transitioned into reading young adult novels, including many installments in the Doctor Who series. Ian Giles is a highly competent freelance translator for The Nordic Word having worked in translation since 2010. His commercial translation specialities include journalism and railways. However, he has also completed a major literal translation of a well-known Swedish play. Ian is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh where he obtained an MA in Scandinavian Studies in 2011. He has also studied at Uppsala University. Ian has recently completed an MSc in Translation Studies at the University of Edinburgh and hopes to pursue further research opportunities in the not-too-distant future. Ian is an associate member of the Swedish-English Literary Translators' Association as well as a student member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
