OverviewGarden Clippings is an ekphrastic stroll through life seen through the wonders of nature. Storrs' rich imagery creates a garden of emotion that sprouts from the grandeur of the Colorado mountains to the simple pleasures found in her small Tennessee garden. In vibrant paintings of words, new life trembles in January flowers and faith perseveres through the oppressive slog of August. Garden Clippings mourns losses, rejoices in memories, and hopes for future harvests, while appreciating ephemeral joy, as found in a summer dandelion.
